Lloyds TSB for the London Olympics*

Londoners are not excited for their city to host the Summer Games. Lloyds TSB would like to engage consumers in London and the surrounding areas in a fun, good-humored way and promote the Olympic Spirit.

Our solution was to engage citizens on their daily commute to the city center with Olympic imagery and offer a free transit day before the Games, so that Londoners could enjoy their city before the games begin. Then, during the Olympics, Lloyds TSB would sponsor an iPhone app, allowing Londoners to avoid congestion and traffic due to the Games.

We created four billboards, with a bold graphic look and 5-word anthemic headlines. (click to expand)

They could be placed in transit stations and near highways leading to London.
 

We also suggested clever placement using train stations, buses and giveaways, to bring the competitive atmosphere of the Olympic Games to everyday life.
