When the Upendo Village wanted to raise more money to provide HIV/AIDS education and care, one of its board members approached me about a social media strategy. The F.A.M.E Project was the result.

Post an embarrassing picture through our fundraising app and name your price. If your friends donate that amount to Upendo Village, you pledged to make that picture your profile pic for the rest of 2011. 

It was a simple idea, but ended up earning thousands of dollars for the Upendo Villlage.
